Gina Tedesco is an active investor, serial entrepreneur, professor and mentor. Globally experienced, her career of 28 years includes co-founding 3 successful start-up ventures, overseas postings in finance and M&A with a global pharmaceutical company in Paris, France and Sao Paulo, Brazil and industry expertise in internet technology, software as a service technologies, biotech, pharmaceuticals, and education.

Currently, Gina is Managing Member of Amala Ventures, which invests in early-stage companies with diverse teams and innovative and disruptive technology in the USA and Brazil. She is also a Managing Director and NJ Chapter Lead of Golden Seeds, a national network of angel investors dedicated to investing in early-stage companies founded and led by women and a member and board trustee of Jumpstart NJ Angel Network, a private, member-lead, angel group that invests in early-stage technology companies in the Mid-Atlantic region. Gina serves on the boards of a number of private companies and has served as a trustee of a non-profit education foundation.

She is a member of the Advisory Board for the Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurship at Fairleigh Dickinson University where she also teaches on-line courses in Entrepreneurship as an Adjunct Professor. Fluent in English, French and Portuguese, Gina earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (Pi Tau Sigma) and an MBA in International Business with a concentration in Finance from The George Washington University (Magna cum Laude) as well as an additional post-MBA concentration certificate in Entrepreneurial Studies from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
